End of financial year is a terribly busy time for me, so I have been a little quiet on the channel and the website of late. I apologise, but I hope I will be able to make up for it with this video and blog post. The Rigid Heddle loom can easily support 3 shaft weaving, and one of the most beautiful in my opinion is a 2/1 twill. Understanding how, however, can take a bit to get your head around. So, I have created this video to help. You can watch it here https://youtu.be/r75I8EKuzt4. There is 2 parts, and the second part will be published next week. This video is all about understanding the weave structure, but also, how to plan projects using 2/1 twill, on Iweaveit, the software i use. Also, whilst planning this I had the BEST idea. I could plan and design this years towel series using 2/1 twill!. So exciting. Anyway, hope you are well! and please let me know what you think of the video. TTFN!

Hi. Love your channel. Just watched your loom waste video and saw your issue with texsolve pegs. You do not need the pegs if you use the following technique.
